Elections 2024: Check Polling Time in all cities here

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is gearing up for its long-awaited general elections on February 8 tomorrow amidst challenges of militancy and uncertainty. Authorities remain hopeful for the formation of a new government to address the country’s crises.

Delayed by a year, the elections coincide with economic uncertainty, frequent terror attacks, and climate disasters endangering millions. Despite these hurdles, preparations are complete.

With 120 million registered voters participating, elections will be held for the National Assembly and four Provincial Assemblies across over 90,000 polling stations nationwide.

Polling Time in Pakistan

The timings, as per Election Commission of Pakistan, will be from 8am in the morning till 5pm. The polling will be held for 9 hours without any interval.

In Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and other cities, citizens are advised to visit polling stations at 8am to avoid long queues.

ECP or any other official has not announced any news about extension in the polling time.

To find out any changes in poll hours for your constituency, please visit Election Commission platform. The commission has also instructed the election staff to make sure polling time in their districts.
