LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presided over a special meeting to finalize the launch of the ‘Nigahban Ramadan Relief Package’ aimed at facilitating the underprivileged families throughout the province during Ramadan.

CM Nawaz said, This is a relief package which is the right of needy people and a governmental responsibility; therefore, this  should be distributed in an honorable and efficient manner with no long queues for the public.

Registration Process

To facilitate the process of registrationthe citizens can get themselves registered through the PSER portal online or by visiting online or by visiting any of the over 4,000 registration centers established at union councils and municipal offices across the province.

The last date for the registration process is February 15, and applicants will have to provide personal details along with a login password for future use.

Eligibility Criteria

Family members are eligible for the Nigahban Ramadan Relief Package through a very tight criteria: with only below 30%  of the poverty score, below 60,000 PKR a monththe family head has to have a valid CNIC.

The family must also be permanent resident of Punjab; no family member must be living abroad, and no vehicles should be   on the family head‘s name.

Upon registrationa confirmation or receipt will be dispatched to applicants, and this online portal with its helpline opening assures that for sure the due amount will be transparently ensured to all the eligible families.

It is one of the big steps taken in this holy month of Ramadan, and the way CM Nawab has emphasized dignified distribution with complete transparency surpasses any appreciation.

With the opening of registration, eligible families can now grab this relief package and get through this special time with the   necessary support.
