Environment department bans Punjab University buses emitting smoke

LAHORE: The Environment Department has stopped two buses of Punjab University that were emitting smoke.

According to a spokesperson for the Environment Department, the action regarding the closure of buses has been taken under the orders of the Lahore High Court.

A spokesperson for the Environment Department said that both Punjab University buses that were shut down were emitting smoke and the crew did not even have an environmental fitness certificate.

As per deatils, legal action has been initiated against the buses that have been shut down under the Environment Act.
