PMD issues fresh rain forecast for several regions

KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has made an important forecast regarding rain. However, the weather is likely to remain dry and hot in some cities.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the plains and upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain partly cloudy. While the weather is likely to remain hot in most districts.

The Meteorological Department said that rain is expected in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Chakwal and Rawalpindi, among other districts.

In addition, rain has been predicted in Karachi for the next three days. There is also a possibility of strong winds during this time, which may reduce the intensity of the heat to some extent.

The Meteorological Department says that light rain or drizzle may occur in different areas of the city during the night and morning hours. The maximum temperature is likely to remain between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius during the next three days.

Partly cloudy weather, strong winds and occasional drizzle have also been predicted in the coastal belt of Sindh.

According to meteorologists, the weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the province, however, dusty winds and light rain are likely in some areas of Larkana, Dadu, Jacobabad and Qambar Shahdadkot.
