ISLAMABAD: The price of bread has been increased by Rs 9 and the price of naan by Rs 10, after which bread is 25 and naan is 35 rupees.
According to bread vendors, due to the increase in the price of flour, it is not possible to sell bread and naan at the old price.
The rising prices of flour have forced them to increase the prices. A 20 kg bag of flour has reached Rs 2,400, so it is not possible to sell it at the old price.
Bread vendors further say that if the government does not accept the new prices, they will close the tandoor.
On the other hand, citizens say that it is becoming difficult to get bread for two times a day.
The increasing inflation has destroyed the household budget. Salaries are the same, but daily necessities are constantly becoming expensive. Due to inflation, it has become difficult for the white-clad class to manage their household expenses.
