ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notifications for a major reshuffle in the Inland Revenue Service, announcing several key appointments and transfers of senior officers across the organization.
Under the latest administrative changes, Grade-22 officer Sadia Sadaf Gilani has been appointed as Member FBR, while Grade-22 officer Tehmina Aamir has been appointed Member Audit.
Among the Grade-21 appointments, Amna Hassan has been posted as Director General, IRS Academy, Nabila Faran as Chief Commissioner RTO Rawalpindi, Faheem Muhammad as Director General Internal Audit, Faridullah Jan as Director General Tax Broadening, and Ayesha Farooq as Director General IT, FBR.
The notifications also include several Grade-20 appointments. Sajjad Akbar Khan has been appointed Chief Commissioner Hyderabad, Farhat Qayyum and Adnan Inamullah Khan have been posted as Chiefs at FBR, Yasir Pirzada has been appointed Director General Taxpayer Services, Noreen Yaqoob as Chief Commissioner RTO Sargodha, Yasmin Fatima as Chief Commissioner RTO Islamabad, and Waqas Aslam as Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-II.
The latest appointments and transfers are part of FBR’s administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening tax administration and improving institutional performance across the Inland Revenue Service.
