ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to probe Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan regarding the threatening post uploaded from his official X account.
According to the sources, a four-member team consisting of senior officials from the FIA Cybercrime Wing has been formed to investigate former prime minister Imran Khan for uploading threatening posts.
Sources have said that an investigation team will probe the PTI founder in Adiala Jail.
On May 26, a video post was uploaded from X account, attributed to the former prime minister, wrote, “Every Pakistani should study the Hamood ur Rahman Commission Report and get to know who was the true traitor, General Yahya Khan or Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”
Following the upload of the post, the FIA Cybercrime Wing initiated the inquiry, however, Khan refused to answer any questions from the FIA team during the investigation.
