Final day to register for Hajj 2026 for last year’s missed pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: Today is the last day for Hajj 2026 registration for pilgrims who missed out last year, as the portal will close today.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the remaining pilgrims can register until midnight tonight. 22,097 pilgrims who missed out last year have registered so far.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs had extended the registration date due to floods.

According to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, private Hajj operators will give the first chance to last year’s pilgrims, and the company will be allowed to book new pilgrims on the remaining quota.

According to sources, last year’s pilgrims will be able to perform Hajj without any additional expenses. Today is the last day for the organizing company to transfer the details of the pilgrims and funds.

The organizing company will have to provide proof of transferring the funds of last year’s pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

According to sources, action will be taken against the company for not providing proof of transferring funds through banking channels. The quota of the regulated companies may be canceled and a heavy fine may also be imposed. The ministry had issued notices to 12 companies for not sending funds through banking channels.
