Islamabad weather: Light rainfall expected in Federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The residents of Islamabad are experiencing light rainfall from tomorrow morning, whereas light cool wind will blow all day long, making the weather bearable as compared to the last few days.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Rain-windstorm/thundershower is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab, and Kashmir. Isolated heavy falls/hailstorms may occur during the period. Dry weather is likely to prevail over other parts of the country.

Weak moist currents from the Arabian Sea are penetrating the upper parts of the country. A westerly wave is present over the upper parts and likely to persist during the next 24 hours.
