FIR registered against Ex-AJK PM for attempting to occupy Centaurus Mall in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas for attempting to illegally occupy the Centaurus Mall head office in Islamabad on Wednesday.

As per reports, a FIR has been registered against Sardar Tanveer Ilyas at the Margalla police station on the complaint of the shopping mall’s deputy security in-charge, Colonel retired Tipu Sultan. Muhammad Ali, Anil Sultan, Rizwan, and others have also been named in the case.

According to the FIR, the former AJK PM entered the mall office with a group of 20 to 25 people, adding that security guards on duty foiled the attempt to capture the office.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas allegedly threatened to kill Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan and Sardar Dr. Rashid Ilyas Khan, it added.

Reports revealed that Sardar Tanveer and his accomplice also tortured the security personnel.

In the FIR, the Deputy Security In-Charge has demanded the police take legal action against Tanveer Ilyas and other accused.
