ISLAMABAD: A firing incident occurred at the G-11 courthouse in Islamabad on Monday, injuring two people who were attending a murder case hearing.

Unfortunately, one of the injured individuals succumbed to their injuries, while the other was receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Initial investigations suggest that the incident was a result of personal enmity.

Islamabad Police promptly responded to the incident and have begun investigating. Police teams are currently conducting search operations to apprehend the accused.

This incident bears resemblance to another firing incident that occurred outside the Peshawar High Court (PHC) yesterday, where a gunman opened fire on a detained accused and a policeman.

The gunman in that incident was reportedly apprehended and was alleged to have opened fire to avenge his brother’s murder.
