Five killed in Peshawar over personal enmity

PESHAWAR: Five people were killed and one injured in a shooting incident over personal enmity in Tehkal area of ​​Peshawar.

According to details, the incident took place in Tehkal, Peshawar when two groups opened fire on a car over personal enmity.

A heavy contingent of police reached the spot while the accused managed to escape from the spot.

Earlier, three people were killed and two injured in a shooting incident on the Charsadda Motorway by unknown assailants.

Confirming the deaths, the police said that the incident appears to be a case of personal enmity.

Police said that the victim and his companions were attacked when they were crossing the Charsadda Motorway. According to the police, the assailants managed to escape after the shooting while efforts are underway to arrest them.

The bodies and injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for legal action and treatment, respectively.

At least 5 people were killed in a shooting incident on Kashmir Road in Gujranwala on November 15.

Police officials say that the deceased, Rana Iftikhar alias Rana Khari, was attacked by opponents two years ago.

A police spokesperson said that the five deceased were returning from a court appearance when the driver jumped out of the moving vehicle.

CPO Gujranwala said that within a short time, four suspects came on two motorcycles and opened fire on the vehicle, resulting in the death of all five people.
