LAKKI MARWAT: Security forces killed five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, the ISPR said.

According to the army’s media wing, the security forces conducted an operation to sanitize the area.

The hideout of the terrorists was targeted with precision, killing five people and injuring two others.

The ISPR reiterated that the sanitization operation in the area would continue, adding that the security forces were determined to wipe out terrorism from the country.

Security forces had launched operations against militant outfits following a recent spike in terrorist attacks in the country.

A few days ago, security forces had killed eight terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The military’s media wing said, “Between November 29 and December 1, security forces conducted two operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 8 terrorists. However, a captain and a soldier were martyred during these operations.”
