Four militants eliminated in encounter with DG Khan police

DG KHAN: On Sunday, a police spokesman said that four militants were killed in an encounter with Punjab police in Dera Ghazi Khan.

According to the police, the Dera Ghazi Khan police killed the militants in an encounter in the Kot Mubarak area. The police also recovered weapons from the bodies of the militants during the search operation, which was carried out on the basis of intelligence inputs.

The police said that the militants attacked the police force with heavy weapons, but the timely response of the police thwarted the militants’ plans.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Punjab Police Inspector General Dr Usman Anwar have praised the police force for eliminating the militants involved in terrorizing the people.
