Google unveils Pakistan’s Most Searched People of 2024

ISLAMABAD: The world’s leading search engine Google has released its annual list of the most searched personalities in Pakistan for 2024.

Google has compiled the top trending searches based on billions of searches made throughout the year in six different categories: Cricket, How to, Recipes, Movies & Dramas, Technology, and Personalities.

Google said in a statement that the list was created by analyzing the most trending searches during the year.

Several unique personalities were searched for in Pakistan in 2024. The most searched personality in Pakistan this year was Iranian-French photographer Abbas Attar.

Although it is not clear why he was the most searched in Pakistan, Google Trends shows that there was a significant increase in searches about him in late March 2024. At that time, Google released a doodle in his name, which may have played a significant role in his search. Increase in searches.

Lebanese-American Ethel Adnan is the second most searched personality in Pakistan, while Arshad Nadeem, who won a gold medal for Pakistan in the Olympics this year, is at number three.

Actor Sana Javed is at number four as her searches have increased after her marriage to cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Sajid Khan, Shoaib Malik, Hareem Shah, Minahil Malik, Zoya Nasir and Mukesh Ambani, who performed brilliantly in the England Test series, are among the top 10 searched personalities in Pakistan.
