ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) administration has announced the date of the much-awaited draft of PSL 10.

In a social media post, the official PSL page revealed that the draft will be held on January 11, 2025.

As the PSL moves towards its tenth edition, excitement for Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament is at an all-time high.

According to sources close to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in addition to the draft announcement, the registration process for domestic and foreign players is set to begin this week. The registration will pave the way for franchises to scout and select the best talent from both local and international pools.

Meanwhile, PCB officials are expected to hold another meeting later this week to finalize key details related to the upcoming season, including logistical arrangements and player availability.

This will be the last edition with 6 teams, with 2 more teams being added in PSL 11. Therefore, it provides a great opportunity for franchises to take advantage and set their squads with superstars so that they can win the coveted title.

According to reports, this time the draft will include several superstars such as Kane Williamson, David Warner, Steve Smith, Daryl Mitchell, Gus Atkinson, Adil Rashid, Mark Chapman, and many others to headline the PSL 10 draft.

Before the PSL 10 draft, all the franchises will submit their retention list in preparation for the competition.
