Govt appoints Zeeshan Rehman Khattak as SECP Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: In a significant development, Zeeshan Rehman Khattak following his selection by the Federal Government has been confirmed as the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s (SECP) Commissioner.

Earlier, Khattak was the Chief Commercial Officer at the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) before joining SECP. He was instrumental in developing trade alliances, promoting the expansion of the IT sector, and influencing national policy.

Zeeshan has diverse skills in infrastructure development, strategic planning, and governance, his skills are further demonstrated by his additional roles as Acting CEO, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Industry Development Officer.

Throughout his career, Khattak has worked in a variety of sectors and places. He provides more than 20 years of experience in technology, real estate, wealth management, and regulations, both locally and abroad.

He has an MBA in finance from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, and degrees in business and economics from California State University, Fullerton, USA.
