ISLAMABAD: Facilitation of passport renewal process for Hajj pilgrims 2027 has been provided, the Passport Office has issued orders on the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Hajj pilgrims 2027 will be able to renew their passports even before the stipulated period, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has made it mandatory for Hajj to have a valid Pakistani passport till November 16, 2027.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed the passport offices to receive applications for early renewal, orders have been issued to passport offices across the country and abroad to process renewal applications.
Hajj pilgrims will be able to renew their passports early under Passport Rules 3(C), Hajj pilgrims should keep valid passports ready for the next phase by November 16, 2027.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has made it clear that Hajj applications will not be accepted without a valid Pakistani passport.
On the other hand, the Federal Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif approved the Hajj Policy and Plan 2027-2030 for the next four years. Decisions were taken in the meeting on Hajj arrangements, health, railways and other important national issues.
