ISLAMABAD: If you are planning to perform Hajj 2025, applications for the official scheme will open in mid-November.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced to accept applications for the Hajj scheme of the government in the coming week under the new policy for the upcoming season. It has been reported that more than 179,000 pilgrims will be able to perform Hajj in 2025.
For the upcoming Hajj, 5000 slots have been allocated for those participating through the sponsorship program and the rest of the pilgrims will be part of the regular Hajj scheme.
It is expected that Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain will formally unveil the complete details of the Hajj policy in the coming days.
To streamline the payment process, the government considered installment-based payment for the Hajj package. Instead of a one-time payment, the fee will be split into three installments. A first installment of Rs 2 lakh will be required at the time of application.
After the Hajj draw, the pilgrims will have to pay the second installment of Rs 4 lakh, the remaining amount will have to be paid by the second week of February.
