ISLAMABAD: The Hajj 2025 flight operation has commenced in Pakistan, and this means the sacred journey has begun for thousands of people. The first flight, PIA PK-713, departs from Islamabad International Airport to Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, highlighted that the government had commitments to provide maximum facilities that would meet the needs of the pilgrims in Pakistan during the Hajj season.

He confirmed that all possible and necessary steps would be taken to resolve issues that would be faced by Pakistani pilgrims while in Saudi Arabia, and he planned to travel to the country shortly to personally observe the arrangements made for the Hajj.

The minister also requested that the pilgrims respect all of the laws laid out by Saudi Arabia, and he highlighted the importance of the SIM card and mobile application provided to each pilgrim to assist them if they lose their way during Mina.

The minister also mentioned the Road to Makkah project, which will be provided to more than 50,000 pilgrims from Islamabad and Karachi. With this project, the complete immigration process of pilgrims will be performed in Pakistan.

This has made getting to Makkah much easier and convenient. We are also working to expand this facility to more cities in Pakistan starting next year.

Gratitude and Prayers Sardar Muhammad Yousaf thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for the excellent arrangements for the Hajj.

He urged the pilgrims to also pray for peace, progress, and prosperity for Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah. Pilgrims’ Feedback Intending pilgrims, speaking to Radio Pakistan correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema, praised the initiative of the Road to Makkah project. Some pilgrims were thankful for the government’s work to send them and make their journey easier and enjoyable.
