Huge blast heard as militants storm Gwadar GPA Complex

GWADAR: A huge explosion and heavy gunfire rocked the Gwadar Port Authority Complex in the port city on Wednesday.

Initial reports indicate the blast occurred near the GPA complex, prompting rapid deployment of security forces who cordoned off the area.

Video footage circulating online depicts exchange of gunfire in the city located on the southwestern coast of Balochistan province in Pakistan.

Attack on Gwadar

The attack targeted several state-owned buildings in the area, but the perpetrators remain unidentified. No terror organization has claimed responsibility for the assault, and casualties have yet to be confirmed. This incident marks the latest in a series of targeted assaults in KP and Balochistan.
