Islamabad: An exciting opportunity has emerged for individuals interested in serving in law enforcement. The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced vacancies for Intelligence Officer positions in the Special Branch of the Punjab Police.
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has published an advertisement inviting applications for vacant positions in the Special Branch of the Punjab Police. Specifically, they are seeking candidates for the role of Intelligence Officer (BS-14).
A total of 43 Intelligence Officer positions are available on a contractual basis for a period of two years. The allocation includes 15 positions for women candidates, three for special persons, and two for minorities.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (second division) from a Higher Education Commission recognized university. Additionally, they should have basic computer knowledge. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in the Intelligence Wing of Law Enforcing Agencies are also eligible.
For male candidates, the age limit is between 21 to 40 years, while for female candidates, it is between 21 to 43 years. The age and sex criteria for transgender individuals will be determined based on their CNIC details.
The written test will be MCQ-based with 100 marks and a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus includes questions on General Ability (80%) covering various subjects like General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, and Everyday Science. Additionally, Basic Computer Studies will constitute 20% of the test.
