ISLAMABAD (Zubair Kasuri): A delegation of six officers from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Interior Ministry has left for Turkey to attend the closing ceremony of the Silk Road Process of Trafficking in Persons Program.
The event to be held in Istanbul will showcase a comprehensive program to combat human trafficking along the Silk Road. The initiative has brought together stakeholders from different countries to share strategies and best practices to tackle this critical issue.
Joint Secretary, Interior Ministry, Mr. Adnan Arshad, Dulat representing the Government of Pakistan, will emphasize the government’s commitment to combat human trafficking and protect vulnerable individuals from exploitation.
The Silk Road Process of Trafficking in Persons Program serves as an important platform for international cooperation in the fight against human trafficking.
