ISLAMABAD: Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and some parts of Pakistan on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), light to moderate monsoon waves from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal enter the upper/central parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave affects the northwestern parts of the country.
In these conditions, gale/storm and thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in Twin Cities and Sindh, Northeast and South Balochistan, Kashmir, Potohar region, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday night.
More rain with gusty winds/gusty winds and thundershowers is likely over Twin Cities, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Punjab, Lower Balochistan and Southeast Sindh on Wednesday and Thursday.
The maximum temperature in Islamabad is expected to be between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature is expected to be between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 36 to 38 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
