ISLAMABAD: Twin cities Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan are likely to receive rain of varying intensity on Sunday evening, night, and Monday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow, westerly wave is approaching the upper reaches.

Under these conditions, the weather is expected to remain mostly dry in most parts of the country and hot in the southern parts on Sunday evening and night, Monday, and Tuesday.

However, light rain, storms, and thundershowers are likely over Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Waziristan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas on Sunday evening or night.
