Islamabad weather update; PMD forecast dry for upcoming days

ISLAMABAD – Weather forecast authority has predicted dry weather for twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Monday.

According to the details, the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) forecast dry weather for the upcoming days in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and most parts of the country on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

PMD has predicted wind & thunderstorms for the upper parts of the country.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

A shallow westerly wave will likely enter upper parts of the country from tomorrow evening & night.

However, rains with wind and thunderstorms are expected in upper KP (Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Manshera, Kurrum, Khyber, Shangla and Buner), GB and Kashmir during the period.

Federal Capital Islamabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 27-29 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 28-30 C on Wednesday.

Rawalpindi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 28-30 C on Tuesday & 29-31 C on Wednesday.
