Islamabad ATM robbery: Youth shot dead on resistance

ISLAMABAD: A tragic incident took place in the Golra Mor Chowk area of ​​Islamabad, where robbers shot and killed a young man who was withdrawing money from an ATM.

According to sources, the deceased youth was withdrawing money from the ATM of Ameen Islamic Bank when suddenly robbers on a motorcycle arrived there and tried to snatch the money from him. On resistance, the robbers opened fire, as a result of which the young man died on the spot while the accused fled the scene.

As soon as the incident was reported, Rescue 1122, SHO Noon Police Station and a large contingent of police reached the spot. The police have cordoned off the scene and collected evidence, while various teams have been formed to arrest the accused.

According to the police, the search for the accused is ongoing and they will be arrested soon.
