Joe Biden in his first letter to Shehbaz led govt expresses best wishes for Pakistan

WASHINGTON: The US President Joe Biden has written a letter to the Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif in which he has expressed his best wishes for the newly elected government of Pakistan.

This is the first letter from the US President after PM Shahbaz Sharif assumed office.

The letter of the US President said that the partnership between the people of the two countries is very important in ensuring the security of the world and our people.

In the letter written by Joe Biden, it was said that the United States will stand with Pakistan in facing the most important challenges facing the world and the region.

The letter said that through the US-Pakistan Green Alliance framework, we will further strengthen our alliance for environmental improvement, sustainable agricultural development, water management and continue to support Pakistan in recovering from the devastating effects of the 2022 floods. Together, we are determined to protect human rights and promote development.
