KARACHI: The University of Karachi’s Assessment and Testing Service (KUATS) administered a written test for vacancies announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
The 30-minute test was held at five examination centers on campus for the positions of driver and naib qasid.
The test comprises 40 MCQs with questions related to various subjects such as General Knowledge, Islamiat, Ethics for non-Muslims, Mathematics, and Pakistan studies.
Out of 699 applicants for the driver’s post, 205 candidates appeared for the test, while 1,109 candidates out of 2,843 applicants took the test for the Naib Qasid position. The tests commenced at 9:00 am for drivers and 10:00 am for Naib Qasid.
KUATS and university staff were present to facilitate the candidates, along with medical personnel and ambulances on standby.
The KUATS, established with the approval of the Academic Council, aims to provide testing services for admissions and employment purposes to public, semi-government, and private sector institutions.
