KARACHI: The Sindh government has officially announced a three-day holiday for Eid-ul-Adha, as confirmed by a notification.
The holidays will begin on Monday, June 17, and conclude on Wednesday, April 19.
Technically, the Eid vacations will begin on June 15, as most government departments follow weekly Saturday and Sunday off days.
The holiday declaration followed the sighting of the Zil Hajj moon on June 7, with Pakistan celebrating Eid ul Adha on June 17. Eid ul Adha, observed on the tenth day of Zil Hajj, coincides with the Hajj journey.
