KARACHI: One of the most well-liked gathering places for families in the country’s southern port city is the Karachi Zoo.
This well-known tourist destination in the City of Lights, also called the Karachi Zoological Gardens, is one of Pakistan’s biggest zoos, spanning 33 acres. At just six years older than the famed Lahore Zoo, it is also the second-oldest zoo in the country.
The zoo’s inhabitants include zebras, elephants, baboons, deer, giraffes, lions, Bengal tigers, jackals, and Arabian Oryx.
People can visit Karachi Zoo between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Although the zoo is open seven days a week, the Wednesdays are reserved for women and children only.
The entrance fee for Karachi Zoo is minimal as Rs30 each person.
