PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Labour Department has made a remarkable move with the introduction of the E-Mazdoor Card: a progressive initiative to change labor welfare provisions and offer workers a comprehensive service record throughout the province.
The announcement of the E–Mazdoor Card and all its details were discussed throughout an informative meeting convened by K–P Minister for Labour Fazal Shakoor Khan attended by Secretary Labour Mian Adil Iqbal and the Vice Commissioner of Employees‘ Social Security Institution (ESSI).
The E-Mazdoor Card will provide a comprehensive record of a worker’s employment history, including their entry into service, tenure at various factories, and other essential details.
This is considered a pioneering services card for labor welfare in the province and represents significant progress in the Department‘s mission of improving the lives of K–P workers.
