Lahore High Court grants bail to Ejaz Chaudhry in May 9 cases

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has granted bail to PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry in three cases related to the May 9 riots and arson incidents.

According to reports, the court reserved its verdict on the bail application filed by Ejaz Chaudhry in all three cases.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi granted bail in all three cases.

Ijaz Chaudhry’s lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq, while giving arguments, said that his client is an accused in three cases, including the burning of the PML-N office and the container in Gulberg.

He further said that the trial court did not assess the facts correctly, while the PTI founder has already been granted bail in these same cases.
