LAHORE: Following the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest, normal traffic flow is now restored in provincial capital with most entry and exit points have been reopened and the commuters can travel smoothly, according to Lahore police.
The traffic now running smoothly in the area-altogether with mainly 3 entry and exit points across the Ravi Bridge, the Old Ravi Bridge, and the Sagian Bridge.
Additionally, an entry point from Thokar Niaz Baig and Multan Road is also opened, while traffic-flowing along Raiwind Road, Ferozepur Road, and Gajjumata road respectively.
However, some routes are sill closed as the PTI prote st has been finished yet, and restrictions still prevail due to the ongoing PTI protest.
Whereas, Motorway, Eastern Bypass, and Babu Sabu are still inaccessible; moreover, interchanges across the Lahore Ring Road are fully blocked to traffic.
The citizens are advised to kindly confirm their journey plans with police helpline (15) before proceeding. Nevertheless, Lahore Traffic Police spokesperson has confirmed that the traffic movement is generally normal around the city, with all efforts put in place to minimize inconvenience to life.
