Faisalabad: Two children were burnt to death in Sharifpura, Faisalabad on Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in their house due to a laptop explosion.
As per the details, rescue officials said the fire broke out when a laptop that was being charged exploded.
Doctors of Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital say that nine injured people, including two women and five children between the ages of three and nine years, have been brought to the hospital by rescue services.
Later, a girl Dua 06 and a boy Taha 09 succumbed to their injuries.
Officials did not comment on the cause of the explosion, saying defective lithium-ion batteries in laptops and mobile phones can overheat and catch fire and, in rare cases, explode.
