Latest CNIC, Smart ID Card fee update in Pakistan [May 2024]

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued the latest fee update of the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) fee in Pakistan.

CNIC contains a 13-digit unique identification number issued by NADRA through biometric profiling of all citizens, which is a basic document for availing government services.

The agency provides identity cards and other documents for a specific fee. All citizens need a basic identity document to show their identity and avail of government schemes.

NADRA used to offer simple ID cards earlier, but NADRA has introduced a new smart national ID card that incorporates advanced technology and clear guidelines.

Latest ID Card Fee in Pakistan

The normal fee for the new Smart National Identity Card is Rs 750, the urgent fee is Rs 1500, while the executive fee is Rs 2500.

Pakistani citizens can apply for the new Smart National Identity Card in various ways. Citizens can visit a NADRA registration center or use the Pak ID website.

After completing the application online through the Pak ID website, the card will be delivered to your doorstep. It should be noted that every citizen cannot apply for the new CNIC through the website.
