ISLAMABAD: The PTI founder Imran Khan reportedly refused to meet party leader Sher Afzal Marwat on Tuesday, who arrived at Adiala Jail to meet the incarcerated Imran Khan.

According to the source, former PM Imran Khan reportedly declined to meet with Sher Afzal Marwat as his name was not included in the list of scheduled meetings provided by the Khan himself.

According to the reports, Sher Afzal Marwat arrived in the room next to the conference room of the Adiala Jail. Tuesday’s list of meetings was provided by the PTI founder, which didn’t include Sher Afzal Marwat’s name. Marwat went back without meeting the former Prime Minister, sources said.

However, PTI-backed SIC lawmaker Marwat denied reports regarding Imran Khan’s refusal to meet Sher Afzal and termed it fake news.

Taking on social media platform X, Marwat said, that private news channel is giving fake news again.

“The facts that Adiala Jail Superintendent Asad Waraich can also confirm are that Khan asked the jail authorities to arrange a special separate meeting, which the jail authorities refused,” he wrote.

“Jail authorities refused because as per the prearranged procedure, Imran Khan on Tuesday met six people together. Then, Khan asked to be told that I could meet him tomorrow during the trial. I will meet him tomorrow,” he added.
