According to an official notification, power supply would remain suspended from 8 a.m. From 2 p.m. to 2 p.m., affecting various feeders of many grid stations.

Officials added that the outage would also serve to improve stability, efficiency, and carry out major repairs to the system.

Areas of Bhaipheru, Chungi, EMCO, Ghazi, Kahna, Khana Kachha, Mominpura, Qila Star Shah, Makkah Colony, Sarfraz Nagar, Shalimar, Sukh Chayn, Gujjumata, Liaquatabad, and New Kot Lakhpat grid stations are anticipated to be affected by the power outage.

The EMCO grid station would remain shut with affected feeders in the areas of Kot Abdul Malik, Madina Glass, and Starlet industrial/residential zones.
