KARACHI: As the rescue operation continues, another body was pulled out of the rubble of a building in Lyari, taking the death toll to 18.

According to rescue officials, the operation is ongoing at the scene of the accident and the work of removing the rubble is being done with extreme caution. There is a fear that people are still buried under the ruins, which may increase the death toll.

On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner South Javed Khoso, while talking to the media, said that the rescue operation will take another 8 to 10 hours.

The rescue operation has been entered into the next phase with caution. There is a fear that 10 to 12 people are still buried in the rubble.
