Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s statue installed at Gurdwara Kartarpur

NAROWAL: The statue of the first Sikh ruler of Punjab Maharajah Ranjit Singh has been permanently installed at Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.

Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, Pardhan of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and Minister for Minority Affairs in Punjab, was present at the installation ceremony along with representatives from the Project Management Unit Kartarpur and Sikh pilgrims from India.

Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora stressed the value of safeguarding the statue on this particular occasion.

Sikh pilgrims are in Pakistan to observe Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s 185th death anniversary on Saturday in Lahore. These pilgrims come from a variety of countries, including India.
