ISLAMABAD: The main accused involved in the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was sentenced to life imprisonment on Saturday.
According to details, the Gujranwala Anti-Terrorism Court has pronounced the verdict in the attack on the PTI founder.
Naveed was sentenced to life imprisonment under two legal provisions.
The incident took place on November 3, 2022, when firing suddenly started at Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad, in which a container of the PTI long march was targeted.
It should be noted that the attack took place during the PTI long march, as a result of which the former prime minister and others were injured.
