Maryam Nawaz congratulates Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on federal budget

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and his economic team on presenting the fifth federal budget, calling it an important step towards public relief and economic stability.

She said that signs of economic improvement are becoming visible in the country and now it is time for its fruits to be directly delivered to the common citizen.

In her statement, the Punjab Chief Minister welcomed the budget presented by the federal government and said that this budget reflects the commitment to provide relief to different segments of society.

She said that the steps taken to reduce the financial burden on the salaried class, promote industries and develop the agricultural sector will play an important role in further strengthening the country’s economy.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, while paying tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team, said that presenting a people-friendly budget despite the current economic challenges is a positive development. The reforms and relief measures included in the budget will promote business activities, create new employment opportunities and reduce the economic difficulties of the people.

The Chief Minister of Punjab further said that this budget, which includes welfare and development measures, has the potential to involve every section of the society in the journey of national development. The government is trying to ensure public prosperity along with economic stability so that the fruits of development can reach every citizen of the country.
