Muree snowfall update: All you need to know before trip

Murree: Winter’s initial snowfall has blanketed Malka e Kohsar, drawing numerous tourists to the hill station to relish the chilly ambiance. However, escalating concerns over safety prompted the district administration to halt tourist influx temporarily. Slippery roads hindered vehicular movement, necessitating precautionary measures.

Other regions have also witnessed moderate snowfall since the preceding weekend, prompting officials to advise against unnecessary travel and advocate for safety measures.

In Murree, temperatures are plummeting, with Saturday’s forecast ranging between -04 to -02 degrees Celsius, further dropping to -02-00 C on Sunday. The mercury dipped to -2 degrees Celsius, plunging below freezing levels, accompanied by a humidity level exceeding 75 percent.
