Pakistan Clinches Thrilling Victory Over Bangladesh to Secure Semifinal Spot in ICC Under-19 World Cup 2024. In a nail-biting encounter at Benoni’s Willowmoore Park, Pakistan’s under-19 cricket team emerged victorious against Bangladesh, sealing their spot in the semifinals of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa.

After setting a target of 156 runs, Pakistan faced a tough challenge from the Bangladeshi bowlers, with Rohanat Doullah Borson and Sheikh Paevez Jibon claiming four wickets each. However, resilient batting performances from Arafat Minhas, who scored 34 runs, and Shahzaib Khan, who contributed 26 runs, helped Pakistan reach a total of 155 runs.

In response, Bangladesh began their innings with determination but were met with fierce bowling from Pakistani pacers Ubaid Shah and Ali Raza. The duo managed to take eight wickets collectively, restricting Bangladesh to just 150 runs in 35.5 overs. Ubaid Shah’s exceptional performance, clinching five wickets for 44 runs, stood out as a highlight of the match.
