After setting a target of 156 runs, Pakistan faced a tough challenge from the Bangladeshi bowlers, with Rohanat Doullah Borson and Sheikh Paevez Jibon claiming four wickets each. However, resilient batting performances from Arafat Minhas, who scored 34 runs, and Shahzaib Khan, who contributed 26 runs, helped Pakistan reach a total of 155 runs.
In response, Bangladesh began their innings with determination but were met with fierce bowling from Pakistani pacers Ubaid Shah and Ali Raza. The duo managed to take eight wickets collectively, restricting Bangladesh to just 150 runs in 35.5 overs. Ubaid Shah’s exceptional performance, clinching five wickets for 44 runs, stood out as a highlight of the match.

With this victory, Pakistan joins hosts South Africa, arch-rivals India, and Australia in the semifinals of the tournament. South Africa is set to face India in the first semifinal on February 6 in Benoni, while Pakistan will take on Australia in the second semifinal at the same venue on the following day.
