ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued important instructions for citizens applying for ID cards and other official documents.
According to the announcement, applicants must bring original documents when visiting NADRA centres. Photocopies are not required for B-Forms or registration certificates. NADRA also clarified that using someone else’s ID card as a guarantee has no legal standing.
Citizens have been warned against sharing their personal information or fingerprints in exchange for financial offers or rewards. Additionally, NADRA advised the public to avoid carrying unnecessary photocopies and only bring original documents for processing.
Clear instructions regarding these guidelines have been displayed at all NADRA centres.
