ISLAMABAD: NADRA has issued a warning to citizens whose national identity cards have expired.
The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA), the sole authorized body to provide legal identity documents to Pakistanis living in the country and abroad, has issued a warning to Pakistani citizens whose national identity cards have expired.
In a statement issued by NADRA, it has been said that citizens whose national identity cards have expired should get their national identity cards renewed in a timely manner or have their B form converted into a national identity card.
In addition, children whose B form has not yet been made should also get their B form made as soon as possible.
NADRA has said that all the above steps related to the national identity card and B form should be completed before June 30, 2026 to avoid possible additional fees or penalties later.
NADRA has issued these instructions under Section 30(1)(e) of the NADRA Ordinance 2000.
