Chicken prices surge ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr in Karachi

KARACHI: As Eid approaches, the price of everything is increasing, as usual, and the prices of chicken meat have also increased.

The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is just a few days away. As Eid approaches, the prices of all items for food, drink, clothing and decoration are also increasing, as usual. Chicken meat prices have increased in Karachi.

The price of chicken meat has increased significantly across the country and chicken, which was sold for Rs 450 and Rs 500 per kg until a few days ago, has now reached Rs 700.

Chicken meat is being sold in Karachi for Rs 650 per kg to Rs 670 per kg, while in Peshawar too, the price of chicken meat per kg has increased by Rs 50.

In addition, the prices of flour, cooking oil, and ghee have also increased, while the prices of vegetables used in various dishes have also been increased.
