LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has extended his stay in London due to ill health.

According to media reports, the PML-N president extended his stay due to regular medical check-ups by foreign doctors as the doctors are monitoring his condition.

Sources added that the former prime minister, who had arrived in London from Belarus earlier this month for a two-week stay, has re-arranged his return ticket.

Meanwhile, the PML-N UK chapter is looking to host a workers’ convention in honour of Nawaz Sharif.

On April 12, the former prime minister landed at Luton Airport in the afternoon. Nawaz Sharif was received at the airport by PML-N UK leader Ahsan Dar and others.

Before Nawaz Sharif’s arrival, a scuffle broke out between PTI and PML-N supporters outside Park Lane Flats. A large number of PML-N supporters had gathered to welcome Nawaz Sharif.
