LAHORE – The Punjab Government has announced new timings for all private and government schools for the summer season as mercury continues to rise across province.
According to the latest announcement of the provincial education department, the school classes will start at 7:45 am and continue till 1:15 pm. On Fridays, classes will end at 11:45 p.m.
For double-shift schools, classes across the region will start from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm, and from 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm.

Punjab and other regions used to change school timings based on weather conditions and safety concerns for students. Earlier there was a change in school timings for the winter season which will be effective till April 15.
