ISLAMABAD: As the clock strikes midnight to enter a new year, people around the world celebrate and welcome new beginnings with spectacular fireworks displays.
Just like the whole world, Pakistan also celebrates the beginning of 2025 with musical nights, lighting up the sky fireworks, food festivals, and many other fun activities.
If you’re planning to enter into the new year watching a dazzling fireworks display, this guide will take you through some of the most exciting fireworks that will light up the night sky in major cities of Pakistan.
For a cheerful transition into the New Year, Bahria Town Karachi has planned “grand fireworks” on midnight of December 31 at Bahria Dancing Fountain Karachi. The fireworks will be joined by a special dancing fountain show, a laser show, and a live concert by Jeem Se Jaffar.
Karachities can also celebrate New Year’s Eve 2025 at Port Grand where singers Ali Tariq, Samar Jafri, Raamis, and many others will perform along with a spectacular fireworks show at midnight!
The event at the Port Grand will be paid and the tickets can be grabbed from the main gate of the facility.
The residents of Lahore would also be able to witness the New Year Eve’s celebration at Bahria Town Lahore. The grand celebrations filled with lights, entertainment, and unforgettable memories will be held at BT’s Eiffel Tower.
The Indigo Hotel’s Rooftop in the metropolis will also offer a spectacular display of fireworks and live music from 09:30 PM to 12:30 AM.
Islamabad, known for its early sleep, will remain awake on New Year’s Eve to welcome 2025.
Like every previous year, ParkView City will offer a dazzling fireworks display along with a dancing fountains show and live music.
The residents of the Twin Cities will also be able to witness the fireworks at IMARAT Downtown, located on Islamabad Expressway, on the occasion of New Year’s Eve and the grand launch of Monal on January 1, 2025.
Furthermore, Faisal Hills will also light the sky with fireworks along with a New Year Family Night at Faisal Hills Majestic ARC on December 31, 2024. Veteran folk singers Arif Lohar and Gul Panra will perform at the event.
Giga Mall, one of the famous spots for fireworks over the years, will miss the celebrations this New Year’s Eve. The Giga Mall administration in a statement confirmed that “no fireworks will be displayed and the mall will close at 10:00 PM.”
Faisalabad will witness the splendid fireworks on the mega New Year’s Eve at Citi Housing, a private housing society.
A New Year’s Eve Musical Night 2025 filled with music, food, bonfire, and fireworks will be held at the BRAINS Institute. The event will feature a live musical performance by JAAM and delicious food stalls.
